Thirty-three-year-old Tamás, known as Tami, is left by his fiancée Anna, a scholarship student in Paris, abruptly interrupting what appears to have been a happy relationship. Unprepared to react to the shock, Tamás returns to his family in his native Budapest to recuperate.
