In August 2019, skippers Boris Hermann and Pierre Casiraghi travel by sailboat to New York City. Having set off from Plymouth in the UK, they crossed the Atlantic to accompany Greta Thunberg, her father Svante and filmmaker Nathan Grossman to the UN climate summit, where the young activist was invited to speak. Swedish documentary filmmaker Nathan Grossman has been following her for exactly one year, since her first solo strike outside the Stockholm parliament. Twelve months in which the girl, born in 2003, has faced exceptional media exposure, a necessary condition for bringing her ecological appeal to the attention of world politics.
