Alice Rohrwacher\, Francesco Munzi and Pietro Marcello travelled across the country\, stopping both in the big cities – Milan\, Genoa\, Rome\, Naples and Palermo – and in the countryside and small towns\, meeting young people from schools and universities\, professional courses\, sports clubs\, choirs\, street demonstrations and workplaces. The testimonies collected form a picture of a country that does not listen or pay enough attention to young people\, and devotes very few economic and organisational resources to them.

Considered to be a valuable subject for research\, the old prince is taken into custody and hidden by little Tom and his parents\, two researchers who have always been convinced of the existence of other forms of intelligent life and are therefore excluded from the rigid academy of science. As the days go by\, the ”prisoner” and the child develop a deep relationship\, which leads them both to escape from the studio and venture into the big city.

Friendly and boisterous\, chased by the female gerbil Fix\, who accuses him of having stolen ten million clams\, Frog finds no better way out of his predicament than to promise to break the historic record by circumnavigating the globe in just eighty days. This is the opportunity that Passepartout has always been waiting for\, and for which it is even worth running away from home.
