Considered to be a valuable subject for research\, the old prince is taken into custody and hidden by little Tom and his parents\, two researchers who have always been convinced of the existence of other forms of intelligent life and are therefore excluded from the rigid academy of science. As the days go by\, the ”prisoner” and the child develop a deep relationship\, which leads them both to escape from the studio and venture into the big city.

Among them are a group of four friends: Ali\, Mamad\, Reda and Abofazl\, the latter being the brother of Zahra\, who also works as a mugger in the underground. The opportunity for a more important assignment for the four comes with the promise of a treasure hidden underground and accessible only from within the walls of the School of the Sun\, a local institution. The boys must thus pretend to be interested in resuming their studies and secretly dig a tunnel to find the treasure.

The testimonies collected form a picture of a country that does not listen or pay enough attention to young people\, and devotes very few economic and organisational resources to them.
